In early 2023, Nicolas joined SuperFriend as a senior leader with extensive experience in managing not-for-profit organisations.
Before joining SuperFriend, Nicolas served as the Chief Financial Officer for CERES Community Environment Park. This social enterprise powerhouse has an annual turnover of $20M and employs 315 staff across four locations linked by the Merri and Darebin Creeks on Wurundjeri Country, Melbourne. Prior to CERES, Nicolas was the CFO of Outward Bound Australia, a not-for-profit organisation that provides experiential outdoor education programs aimed at developing individuals' resilience and leadership skills.
Nicolas is a purpose-driven leader dedicated to developing and implementing mission-aligned strategic, financial, and operational plans that help organisations make a positive impact on the world. He holds an MBA with a specialization in Social Impact from the Australian Graduate School of Management and the Centre for Social Impact (AGSM/CSI). He is currently serving as the Treasurer of EMERGE Australia, a national patient organisation that provides education, advocacy, research, and support services to people living with myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS).
