Deanne joined SuperFriend's Board as a Fund Representative Director in April 2023.

As an experienced and trusted legal adviser with expertise in leading high performing teams and providing legal advice in a clear and pragmatic manner on legal, risk and governance matters, Deanne is General Counsel for Australian Retirement Trust leading the Group Legal division and a member of the Executive Leadership Team.

Deanne has more than 20 years’ experience in the legal and financial services sector focusing on partnering with executives and business teams to identify, advise on and manage legal and regulatory risks while finding solutions which enable the business to meet strategic objectives. Deanne has also worked in senior legal roles at other financial services organisations and at top tier law firms.
 
Deanne has a passion for leading, developing and mentoring people and encouraging diversity and inclusion in all forms and also raising awareness of mental health issues and creating a positive and supportive workplace culture.
Deanne holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from QUT and is a Graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (Company Directors course).
